AI Now Bench 7 released — free Windows benchmarking with new AI and real-world performance tests

Hi everyone! AI Now Bench 7 (7.0.0.22) is now available, and this is our biggest update yet. The standard benchmark is completely free, requires no license key, and includes 63 scored tests across six categories, downloadable reports, and optional online results sharing and comparison. Here’s what’s new:

A full graphical interface: The entire testing process now runs through a GUI, with live progress and console performance data displayed inside it. The old console view is available if you maximize it from the taskbar.

AI Compute Testing Suite: Ten tests covering CPU, RAM, and GPU performance across neural inference, image and video generation, language models, computer vision, speech recognition, AI upscaling, and semantic search.

Real World Performance Suite: Seventeen tests covering office productivity, browser/PDF workloads, photo processing and editing, software compilation, audio/video encoding and decoding, video calls, local/network 4K playback, and simulated Windows 11 pro and video game startup/boot testing.

Refined classic benchmarks: Updates and fine-tuning throughout our CPU, GPU, memory, and storage tests, including Refining our storage Benchmark testing to ensure even sustained write testing still Maintains consistent results even after lack of SSD or NVme garbage collection. Removal of the Winsat storage test because of inconsistent performance for our comparison database.

GPU cryptocurrency performance benchmark: An illustrative Pearlcoin-style USD/hour estimate Testing out hypothetically what your graphics card Can mine and create in US dollars using fixed August 2026 pearl coin mining reference data. It performs no actual mining and does not report current earnings.

With an Advanced Pro optional license key you can run the standard benchmark, followed by 10-minute CPU, GPU, and RAM diagnostics, including temperature monitoring where supported, GPU core/VRAM load testing, and high allocation memory read/write error checks For testing windows memory system stability. It also produces a full gpu diagnostic report Which gives the entire testing not just memory bandwidth and compute performance but a full report on your graphics card as well.

You can additionally select a standalone one-hour CPU, GPU, or RAM stress test, with automatic stopping for detected errors or supported temperature limits.
