Aah, Halloween pie is a platformer game where you can experience the spooky Halloween season every day of the year. This action game is not really that scary, though, because it is actually just a simple side-scroller that anyone can play casually. However, while it lacks thrilling elements, it is still very entertaining with its 2D graphics, kind-of-ridiculous set-up, and a confident protagonist who shoots down skeletons without thinking twice. The simple mechanics are also part of what makes Aah, Halloween pie enjoyable because you can have all the fun you want without having to think about conspiracies and other mind-boggling missions. 

Shoot the skeletons

The game’s mechanics are very easy and simple that even 5-year-olds can master them without any problem. As a basic side-scroller game, all you have to do is to move either forwards and backward. You can also jump from time to time in order to move forward and avoid the enemy which are skeletons by the way. The undead is persistent in trying not to stay dead, and it is up to you to put them back in their rightful place in the afterlife. As skeletons try to approach you, you have to shoot them down with your powers. A white ball of light comes out of your fists, and they cause the skeletons to disintegrate upon contact. However, that is pretty much all you have to do the entire time, walk, crouch, jump, and attack. It is repetitive, but Aah, Halloween pie has more up its sleeve in the name of entertainment. 

If Mario in Super Mario relies on mushrooms to grow, and gain immunity from enemy attacks, in this game you have your clothes. The protagonist dons on a shirt that can protect them from the first strike. You can obtain these protective clothing by walking past treasure boxes randomly scattered around each level. Without your clothes, you will be walking past the spooky cemetery in your undies, making you vulnerable to attacks. It is a funny concept and perhaps enough motivation to keep you going. Overall, Aah, Halloween pie is a good game to have on your phone. The game is ready to entertain you whenever you are bored and have nothing else to do.
