Zuido is a simulation. It is a short psychological horror walking simulator that uses minimalism and atmosphere to deliver an eerie, unsettling experience. In the game, you play as someone entering a long underground tunnel to film a psychic video. But things quickly take a strange turn.  

In Zuido, as you move deeper into the tunnels, disturbing sounds start to echo around you. Eventually, your camera captures a mysterious human-like figure standing silently in the shadows. That’s when you realize you might not be alone down there. The gameplay is very simple.  

Don’t look away 

In Zuido, your goal is to safely exit Tunnel 8. There’s no combat, no puzzles, and no jump scares. Instead, the game creates fear through silence, shadows, and a strange navigation system. If you see something strange, you turn right. If you don’t, you turn left. You must make the correct choices and spot all the strange events before the path forward becomes clear.  

If you miss an anomaly, you’ll be stuck in a loop. Though it only lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, it uses that time well. The visuals are minimal and dark, creating a sense of isolation. The sound design is excellent, using small noises, echoing footsteps, and creepy whispers to make you feel tense and watched. There is no music, which makes the game feel even more real.  

Every choice you make feels important because getting lost in the tunnels adds to the fear. But that’s also part of what makes it so effective. You feel just as lost and anxious as the character you’re playing. It puts you into the same uncomfortable headspace as someone trapped in a place they don’t understand. However, the game has a very short length.

With no combat or dialogue, the game relies entirely on unsettling visuals, cryptic navigation rules, and immersive sound design. You must spot subtle anomalies to choose the correct path. The minimalism adds to the fear, making you question what’s real. It’s a psychological horror experience that builds discomfort through atmosphere rather than traditional scares.
