Zoom for Outlook is a free add-on from one of the technology giants, Microsoft. This tool will allow you to add a Zoom meeting to any virtual occasion you have in your Outlook calendar. You will be required to have an account at zoom.us, though. Both basic or pro accounts will work fine.

The difference between the two is with the paid license you can enjoy unlimited minutes for both one-to-one and group meetings. With the basic or free service, group meetings are limited to only a 40-minute length of calls.

Integrate Zoom for all Outlook calendar events

As stated, this Microsoft add-in empowers you to incorporate the Zoom Scheduler extension tool in your Microsoft Outlook application. It is heavily designed to make the scheduling of Zoom meetings seamless and automatic for any new or existing calendar event. You only need to configure your settings for the meeting URL and other relevant information to be added to the Outlook calendar.

More than integrating calendar events, of course, it provides impressive video, voice, and screen sharing quality with a video gallery view wherein you can watch up to 49 streams at once. On top of that, annotations are available to insert more valuable details in your discussions. The audio, mouse, and keyboard controls, on the other hand, can be shared also.

Through this third-party remote meeting add-on utility, you can now effortlessly join in meetings as a ‘Join’ button is included in every calendar event in Outlook. Clicking on it will prompt the Zoom meetings suite to open particularly if you have it installed on your device. If not, the browser will launch and guide you through the process to enter the meeting.

Organize and access meetings with ease

Zoom for Outlook is a handy extension for Microsoft's Outlook calendar. This way you are not only notified of an important event but you're also informed on the meeting URL and other details about the upcoming occasion as well. You no longer need to further ask for the meeting link from your colleagues as you can easily find it within your Outlook app. All thanks to this useful and timely add-on program.
