The revamped progression system introduces deeper customization, allowing players to tailor their weapons and gear to specific strategies.

Multiplayer is where Resurgence truly shines. Up to four players can team up, pooling resources and coordinating strategies to outlast increasingly punishing waves. The cooperative layer enhances replay value, although balance is still being fine-tuned. Some weapons feel overpowered, while others lack bite. However, bugs and performance hiccups do occur.
