ZOA Living MIDI Sequencer is a creative and immersive MIDI sequencer for iPhone. It utilizes a custom implementation of John Conway's Game of Life to generate melody, harmony, and rhythm. With up to four voices, ZOA takes you on a musical journey through an evolving landscape of living cells. Each voice can move in its own unique way, with its own pace and rhythmic pattern.

One of the standout features of ZOA is its ability to interact with the Game of Life by simply touching the grid to toggle cell states. This allows you to have direct control over the musical palette by configuring the grid settings.

The Game of Life settings allow you to adjust grid size, generation advance, rate of new generations, and grid respawn. ZOA offers flexible connectivity options, including standalone use or integration as an AUv3 plugin. It supports multiple MIDI outputs, MIDI clock sync, Bluetooth MIDI devices, and modulation of parameters in a compatible AUv3 host. Additionally, ZOA provides eight unique MIDI CC outputs derived from its Game of Life simulation.
