自由香港楷書 is a free and open-source font app developed by Collaction 小隊. It aims to address the differences between the traditional Taiwanese font and the recommended Hong Kong Chinese font, as outlined by the Hong Kong Education Bureau. The app provides a reference for the stroke order and writing style of Chinese characters in accordance with the "List of Commonly Used Characters in Hong Kong" published by the Education Bureau.

Due to technical limitations, not all smartphones can easily install fonts. In response to this, Collaction 小隊 has developed this app to enable users who are unable to install the font to access the reference writing style of "自由香港楷書". This helps to resolve any confusion caused by different input methods used by students, parents, and teachers.

Users simply need to input Chinese characters using their usual input method within the app to view the reference writing style of "自由香港楷書" (based on the definition in the 2007 edition of the "List of Commonly Used Characters in Hong Kong" published by the Education Bureau).
