ZenForce is an integration between Zendesk and Salesforce. This integration allows for data sharing between Zendesk and Salesforce. Data can be passed between them with the purpose of building up custom fields on a specific form. This integration is possible because both systems are on different domains.

How to use ZenForce

To use this integration, you will first need to install the ZenForce Chrome extension, and then open the Editorial web page for which you want to add custom fields. The data will then be passed to your Chrome browser.

A unique identifier called a device token is generated on the Salesforce side, and is used by the Chrome extension to connect to the API.

The data that is passed to the extension is saved to the Zendesk app by the Salesforce background process. This is done so that the Zendesk page does not need to have the same origin as the Salesforce page.
