The app is developed by Z Energy Ltd, and it allows you to fuel up your car and energy levels while rewarding you for being a loyal Z customer. The app offers a virtual fuel tank called Sharetank that you can fill anytime, anywhere, and share with up to five friends or whānau.

The app also allows you to pre-order your Barista made coffee and chilled drinks, and if you buy five coffees, you will get one free. Moreover, you can pre-buy up to 1000 liters of fuel when the price is right for you and find the lowest price fuel at a Z station nearby.

Furthermore, you can pay with Z App if you are buying fuel only. You can enter your credit, debit, Z card details, or choose Sharetank as your preferred way to pay. With Z App, you can purchase virtual liters with Sharetank anytime, anywhere, and share with up to five people or whānau. You can also access your combined fuel discounts with Pumped and collect rewards when you add Flybuys or Airpoints™. Lastly, you can track your carbon emissions with Carbon Count and choose to offset your emissions through permanent New Zealand forests each time you fill up at a Z station.
