YouTubeDiscordPresence is a Chrome extension developed by XFG16 that allows users to create a detailed rich presence for YouTube videos on Discord. With this extension, you can show your friends and others what you're watching on YouTube and YouTube Music.

To use YouTubeDiscordPresence, you need to install a second desktop application on your computer following the instructions provided on the GitHub page. It's important to note that the current version of the extension only supports the 64-bit version of Windows and does not work with the browser version of Discord. However, the developer plans to add compatibility for other operating systems in the future.

Similar to the Spotify rich presence on Discord, YouTubeDiscordPresence only appears when a video is playing and disappears when there is no video or the video is paused. It does not display information during idling or searching.

To customize your experience, you can access the settings page by clicking on the small YTDP icon located on the top right of the browser, under the extensions (puzzle piece) icon.
