The Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization playing a proactive role in India’s development process. It was formed in the year 2002 with an objective to create a platform for young Indians to realise their dream of a developed nation.

In the last two decades, Yi has evolved into one of the most dynamic and influential youth organizations in India with 38 chapters and around 3,000 members. It has a learning program that brings together the brightest minds in the industry and provides them with an opportunity to learn, grow, and become leaders.

The organization has also been involved in several national initiatives like the "Akshara" program, which provides educational facilities to school children in India, and has contributed to the welfare of India's rural communities by promoting sustainable development.
