The level constantly moves ahead, meaning the possibility of defeat is ever-present, leading to frantic puzzle solving. As a gameplay method, it works well and offers a surprising depth. Successful completion of challenges earns new rooms and new inhabitants which bring new advantages to your character. You Must Build A Boat provides a solid update from the previous title but with a rise in difficulty that can lead to some unfair and frustrating moments.
