Yapbam is a free finance application developed by fahtzer. An acronym for Yet Another Personal Bank Manager, this program works as a personal bank account manager. It lets you manage your budget cleverly by setting account details and monitoring transactions.

The Yapbam app sports a clean interface that is slightly customizable. With this, you can easily navigate its features. Not only that, but you can also import the data from your previous account manager. Unfortunately, you cannot attach any external files to your transactions or forward them via email. What's more, there is no function for reporting issues.

How do you use Yapbam?

Yapbam is among the many utilities that you can use to manage multiple accounts and transactions easily. As mentioned, the app lets you keep a close eye on your incoming and outgoing cash flow. It can help you justify outgoing money by creating transactions. Thanks to the booking wizard, you can enter your transactions quickly. Moreover, it builds your account balance history and provides alerts when it is negative.

The app further extends its capabilities by instantly creating a budget overview and graphs of your expenses. It even offers you a currency converter connected—via the internet—to the official rates of the European Central Bank. If you are using a different account manager previously, you can import your bank transaction to the app. You can even import your online bank statements. With this, you don't have to do them manually.

Yapbam requires users to create an account by providing an account name and their initial balance. Once done, the app automatically analyzes your budget. However, note that it is far from perfect as it comes with a few drawbacks. Besides the issues mentioned above, exporting your transactions requires you to write down the output format manually. The bigger problem is, the supported formats are not mentioned.
