There's an exhaustive, international list of leagues that the app covers, and if there's a league you really like with a decent number of players and games, it's probably included here. Unfortunately, you won't always get updated on time: though the app theoretically boasts real-time coverage, particularly in areas where your mobile connection is spotty, you won't get the up-to-date statistics on the latest games that you're looking for. On the other hand, you can favourite teams and playesr to keep careful tabs on them, and get another chance at seeing the latest stats via the app.
