XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a turn-based strategy game where you control a platoon of soldiers to defend Earth against an alien invasion. A UFO crash lands on Earth before Aliens start killing everyone in sight and a full scale invasion begins.

While XCOM: Enemy Unknown doesn't have an original story, it tries to differentiate itself from other alien invasion games by including an interesting turn based combat system and RPG elements. This special Elite edition for Mac includes additional add-on content like the Slingshot Pack, the Elite Soldier Pack, the Second Wave update and the game's soundtrack.
