WordQuake is a free tool that takes text, and replaces the nouns in it with a word in the WordNet database. The only requirement is a web browser. With WordQuake you can turn webpages into a unique and random mixture of both order and creativity.

This application is based on WordNet, which is a database developed at Princeton University that maps the relationships between tens of thousands of nouns in the English language.

What can I do with WordQuake?

By using WordQuake, you can do a lot of things. You can make new meanings from online news articles, editorials, classic literature, and even your best friend’s Facebook posts. You can add your own humor and creativity to a text and make a completely new meaning for it. You can even find a word in the dictionary and create new words.
