The objective of the game is to find words consisting of letters from the master word and score the highest number of points. At the beginning of each game, a random word is chosen from the 230,000+ word English language dictionary. The player is presented with a list of three, four, five, six, and seven-letter blanks to complete using only the letters from the master word.
