Word-Scape is a vocabulary building app for TOEIC and TOEFL. This app is developed by Mindstorm Inc and is available on iPhone. It can be used as a stand-alone app or in conjunction with the book "Wordscape" from the University of Japan's School of Political Science and Economics. Word-Scape has 14 units and each unit has a chapter. The main text of the unit can be read and listened to under the "Reading and Listening: Story Teller" menu. The vocabulary for each unit is in bold text.

In addition to reading and listening to the main text of each unit, the app also has quizzes to help users memorize the vocabulary. The quizzes include "E/J" quiz, "Word Descriptions" quiz and "Sound-Icon" quiz. The app also includes time-limited game versions of the quiz to make learning more fun. The game section at the bottom of the screen has a fuse that is lit as the game starts and the user must answer as many questions as possible before the bomb explodes.
