Find the culprit behind the crime

Each level of Who Done It starts with a crime being committed (the crimes are usually comically minor, like breaking a window or spraying graffiti). The player's job is to decide which of the on-screen characters is the culprit. The exact process for doing so will vary from level to level.

Cross-examine the suspects

As the player, your first duty is to examine the suspects. When you hover a cursor over them, the suspects will give clues, like pointing at the culprit or describing the clothes worn by the criminal. Based on this information, you can then arrest the most likely suspect. This begins an interrogation mini-game.

Interrogation mini-game

There are two types of interrogation mini-game in Who Done It. The first is a questions and answers session, which is when the player must ask the right series of questions to gauge the suspect's guilt. The other is an X-ray game, where you drag the cursor over the character for incriminating objects.
