This app enables you to view your balances and transactions, as well as transfer money for up to 3 accounts without requiring you to sign in your details. It offers a more convenient way to log in, either using your fingerprint or a 4-digit passcode. Through this app, you can also withdraw cash from any Westpac Group ATM even without a debit card present. 

Manage your payments efficiently

This mobile banking app allows you to organize and carry out your BPAY bills and other payments. It also enables you to send payment overseas as long as the payee is existing. The recurring payments you have can also be managed and scheduled here. Once you made a payment through this application, you will immediately receive an email payment receipt confirming the transaction.

Moreover, it permits you to create a PayID—a nickname for your BSB and account number—which will be used for real-time payments. Hostile user interface

The user interface of Westpac Mobile Banking is lagging behind its competitor apps like CommBank. When you launch and log in to the CommBank app you will be greeted by its neatly organized interface where a variety of banking-related options are laid out—such as Account Info, Tap and Pay, Transfer, and Loyalty Cards.

Unfortunately, Westpac Mobile Banking fails to serve the same intuitive and user-friendly interface that could easily lead you to enjoy the application’s full features. Furthermore, the ATM locator tool of this app is outdated as the banks that are already closed are still listed here. It also provides no notifications whenever your money comes in and goes out of the bank.

Needs severe development

Westpac Mobile Banking app does what it meant to do. However, it badly needs to have a total overhaul of its interface, usability, and overall design. All the useful features it offers are put to waste as the performance of the app is blocking all of it—thus, users can’t have the great financial experience they expect to have.
