Welcome to Primrose Lake 4 is the fourth installment of the popular strategy game series Primrose Lake. Developed by SQRT3, this time management title revolves around Jessica Carlyle coping with David McGovern's disappearance by busying herself with a major renovation of the old Carlyle Manor.  

Rendered in vibrant 2D graphics, Welcome to Primrose Lake 4 delivers the same casual and wholesome gameplay that the previous titles offer but with new and fresh elements, making it familiar yet refreshing to the avid fans of the series. It perfectly captures the blend of mystery and cooking games. 

Help the townsfolk 

Following the events of the last game, Welcome to Primrose Lake 4 advances the ongoing storyline, in which townsfolk are still coming to terms with David McGovern’s sudden vanishing. Joined by her fiancé, Matthew, to start anew, Jessica keeps herself busy with her cafe and the renovation of Carlyle Manor. However, fresh problems begin to emerge, reopening the old wounds along the way. 

Set during the winter season, you take the role of Jessica to lend a hand to the townsfolk and help them manage their daily tasks in new and old locations. Like this game’s predecessors, it contains twists and turns in the form of puzzles and riddles to perfectly captivate and complete the Primrose Lake experience that the old fans love. 

This installment guarantees hours of gameplay, offering more than 60 stages across three difficulty levels. Alongside helping the town’s citizens with their everyday tasks, you must also uncover the place’s hidden secrets and eventually reveal the mystery of the said town. However, although this title is playable without checking the previous games, playing them helps you understand this installment’s lore.
