Waterbomber is an iPhone game developed by Looking West Apps LLC. In this game, players take on the role of an air tanker pilot, fighting a raging forest fire from the sky. The objective is to drag a straight line path for the air tanker to follow and release retardant when the tanker is over the fire. The goal is to contain the fire and prevent structures from burning.

One of the unique features of Waterbomber is the ability to choose between three difficulty settings and the choice of dropping retardant or water. Players must also keep an eye on the plane's status indicator in the top left, as tankers will run out of water and have to go refill.

Waterbomber was originally designed for BlazeJam 2012, a game jam aimed at raising money for the recovery efforts following the Waldo Canyon fire near Colorado Springs, Colorado. The game was conceived and written by independent developers from Denver and Colorado Springs in just 48 hours, and then refined over the following week.
