Watch app for Tesla is a full version iPhone application developed by Kim Hansen. It is a companion app for Tesla vehicles that can be paired with the watch as a proper vehicle key. The app provides several day-to-day conveniences such as getting a notification if the vehicle is in a pre-configured location and not plugged in, adding the graphic corner complication to the watch face, switching between multiple vehicles on the account, and queuing up commands by tapping on buttons. The app also allows users to unlock the vehicle and charge port, activate HVAC, and access the frunk from the convenience of their wrist. The app is highly secure and does not store the user's Tesla account credentials. However, it is not endorsed by Tesla Inc. and users are responsible for any changes to their car caused by using this app.
