WAGON is a premium card PC game by an indie developer who goes by de_husk. It is a first-person deck-building adventure wherein players are part of a group trying to survive a harsh winter. They will make tough decisions that will ultimately dictate their fate and survival. There's also a supernatural element for an intriguing gameplay experience.

Deal with the devil

WAGON takes place during the harsh winter of 1845, where you play as a wagon leader guiding a group of people to Oregon City. However, the air is getting colder, and resources are all but completely spent. In a moment of desperation, you plead to a Ouija board for answers, and a strange girl appears with a way to survive, if you are willing to participate in her twisted idea of a game.

The gameplay revolves around combining cards to build something or achieve certain actions. You will refer to a list of recipes written in the text of the Book of Rites. You slowly realize you're unwittingly participating in something of the occult and supernatural. There is a moderate learning curve to overcome at the start as you familiarize yourself with how the mechanics work.

Chilling and engrossing

Behind its seemingly familiar struggle for survival lies a dark tale of the lengths someone will go through to live. WAGON serves up an engrossing and oftentimes twisted experience wherein you must make tough choices that will sacrifice the few to save the many. If you're a fan of these types of games, this one is simply a must-play.
