VMCP is an Android-based mobile application developed by Visa Inc. It is designed for Visa contact and contactless acquiring clients, merchants, systems integrators, and vendors to test the acceptance of Visa Chip cards during device development, deployment, and update stages of the program. The app is used in conjunction with a Visa-provided utility card.

Effective 16 July 2022, VMCP can no longer be used for any new L3 testing, but it can still be used for host system testing. The app provides a convenient and alternative method for confirming that acceptance devices can accept Visa Chip cards. With VMCP, users can perform tests quickly and easily, making chip card acceptance testing a breeze.
