ViVa is the information service of the Swedish Maritime Administration. ViVa gives you real-time observations of the current conditions in Sweden's maritime region. 

The information service is offered through a network of more than 100 weather stations around Sweden’s coast and in some lakes and streams. 

ViVa can be used as a stand-alone application or as a web-based service. 

The weather stations measure parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, water level, water flow, water temperature, water salinity and density, air pressure, humidity and air temperature and visibility. 

Each station has, depending on the needs of the commercial shipping, a specific set of sensors and it therefore varies which parameters, of the above mentioned, are measured in each location.
