Visor: Family Approved YouTube provides a parent-controlled viewing experience designed to give children greater freedom while keeping parents involved. Parents approve channels through their dashboard, while children watch only permitted content on their devices. The security app also removes ads, Shorts, and random recommendations, creating a more focused environment.

YouTube with parental control

Visor centers its experience around approved YouTube channels, allowing parents to manage viewing access while monitoring daily and weekly activity. Children can search for channels and request approval, then watch permitted content through the app. This approach creates a structured alternative to unrestricted YouTube browsing for younger viewers.

That said, accessing its complete feature set requires a premium subscription. Premium unlocks channel approvals, requests, activity monitoring, ad-free viewing, and the removal of Shorts and random recommendations. Still, its focused design offers families a simpler way to manage children's YouTube consumption.

For families seeking safer viewing

Visor offers a practical family-focused viewing solution for parents who want more oversight without completely restricting children's ability to explore. Although Premium is needed for its complete controls, approved channels, activity monitoring, and distraction-free viewing make it an appealing option for supervised YouTube use.
