Valiant Hearts the Great War is a graphic novel about soldiers and civilians simply trying to survive and find humanity during World War 1. The name might evoke some sort of windswept roleplaying game, but while there's drama to be found and the game's characters certainly are 'Valiant Hearts', the game understands what it is: a historical title about sneaking through trenches, solving problems, doing everything you can to survive another day of bullets and shells. There are four playable characters, including a young soldier, and all four are assisted by a dog named Will.
