The extension is simple to use and it works in the background. It will only send you unread stories, unread counts, and other information you will be interested in. The stories are also color-coded so you can easily identify which ones focus on topics you like and don't like.

Once you click on a story, it'll open in a new browser tab. Doing this also automatically marks it as read. However, you can also mark a story as read by clicking on the “Mark Read” button next to a story's title. This way, you don't have to open a new tab.
