UCO Unified Clothing Overhaul is an expansion for The Armor Mod. This mod allows the player to create their own armor through the use of crafting and spells and makes this armor purely functional and not visually attractive or impressive. This is one of the first mods that overhauls the game in this manner. And by the looks of it, UCO Unified Clothing Overhaul expands further options for customizing/crafting clothing, adds more variety to crafting, and offers a way for players to get their own unique look.

UCO Unified Clothing Overhaul includes spells and perks that can be acquired through crafting/modding, as well as perks from the leveled merchant, that are unique to the player. These spells can make items twice as effective in damage (such as with a power sword), reduce stagger time by half, and even allow players to use stamina while wearing armor. This is a great perk to have for any hardcore survival player, or even for a player who likes to play on a challenge level. These spells, coupled with the new armor and clothing options it creates, make this a great way to increase the challenge and satisfaction of playing this game. And because the Overhaul system doesn't require any kind of mod installation, this also means that there's no risk involved to cause problems to users that don't have the right mod installed.

UCO Unified Clothing Overhaul includes many new recipes, as well as numerous improvements to previous recipes. For example, there's now a Unique Item Skill that only equip a specific weapon to a character - instead of using all weapons for every skill, the player now only uses the one that is equipped to them at any given time. Another great perk, which isn't actually a perk, but rather just an improvement on crafting, is the fact that all crafted items now have a guaranteed recipe. This means that if you don't want to waste a bunch of time cooking up duplicate items, you can just turn down the cooking skill and get an armor and clothing set that already has everything you need. Overall, this expansion greatly expands upon the game while adding new content, and provides for more opportunities to make gold and get items that will help your character to survive and progress.
