UbaPesa is a mobile payment platform developed by a company called UbaPesa Limited Limited. This is a company that is incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Kenya. We are licensed by the National Bank of Kenya. We operate as a merchant bank, a payment bank and a microfinance institution. UbaPesa allows you to make and receive payments in 61 – 90 days. We also have other products like money transfers, money markets, and savings accounts. All these products are approved by the Financial Institutions Committee. As a Money Market, we offer financial solutions that are tailored to address the financial needs of people. Here are some of the products that we offer:

Personal Loans.

Your loans are based on your ability to repay. So, we take into consideration your ability to repay. That is why, the amount that you borrow is based on your ability to repay.

We also offer home loans. We do not lend to real estate businesses or land-based businesses. You need to have a stable source of income to be able to service your loan.

Our Personal Loans are of two types. First, is a non-recurring personal loan. Here, we will pay you back the money in installments. So, we charge you the loan amount that is equivalent to 60% of the loan amount that you will borrow. The remaining 40% will be added to your payment and interest.

Second, is a recurring loan. Here, you pay your interest.
