U.P. Kisan Pathshala App is a free Android app developed by the Agriculture Department of Uttar Pradesh. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive agricultural education to farmers in Uttar Pradesh. It is a module-based program that is offered in a campaign mode. The modules are distributed to all participants free of cost and are based on the crop season (Kharif & Rabi) and need. The program includes practical live demonstrations each day, which makes it an interactive and engaging way to learn.

More than 4.2 million farmers have been trained through 60,850 Kisan Pathshalas organized in four rounds (crop seasons). The program has resulted in a quantum jump of more than 3 million tons in food grain production inAdditionally, the number of farmers reaching out for government scheme benefits has increased significantly. The app has played a crucial role in capacity building of departmental officers/staff, women empowerment, and the percolation of central/state government scheme benefits to small and marginal farmers.
