It works by taking into account the current prices of major cryptocurrencies and makes it easy to obtain an estimation of any transaction on etherscan.io in a wide range of currencies: AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham), BTC (Bitcoin), GBP (British Pound) and USD (United States Dollar).

Note: This extension doesn't work on pending transactions, so it doesn't display pending values.
