It adds some very nice emotes to the Emotes panel. With this extension, you can add text emotes into the Emotes panel. This means you can use some of your favorite text emotes and you'll be able to use them in your chat.

So, we need a better experience. We need more emotes. The problem is that Twitch.tv, and many other video-sharing platforms, do not allow us to create them.
