Twishare to Misskey is a Chrome extension that allows users to share content to Misskey from the Twitter share button. While many websites have share buttons for various social media platforms, Misskey users often find it difficult to share to Misskey using those buttons. With Twishare to Misskey, this problem is solved.

When you press the share button on Twitter, a confirmation screen will appear, giving you the option to share to Misskey. If you choose not to share to Misskey, you can still share to Twitter. Even if you don't have a Twitter share button, you can still share to Misskey using the share button located in the bottom right corner. This share button can be moved or hidden as per your preference.

The extension also provides a share button on the popup screen in the upper right corner, currently available only in Chrome. Twishare to Misskey supports almost all versions of Misskey (v12 or later) and Firefish (formerly Calckey). When you share a tweet, the content of the tweet can be pasted into the note as a quote.

Additionally, Twishare to Misskey removes unnecessary information attached to URLs on certain sites. For example, it removes tracking IDs from YouTube URLs and numbers that indicate the type of device from Twitter share links. There is also a bookmarklet available with the same functionality as the extension.

To use Twishare to Misskey, simply grant the necessary permissions on the Chrome extensions page. Then, click on the Twishare to Misskey icon and enter the server to which you want to share the bookmarklet. If you have already shared to Misskey.io before, this step is not necessary. You can also enable the toggle switch below the icon for additional functionality.
