Twelve Minutes has been compared to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, which also follows a similar concept of repeating the same events with only the main characters retaining their memories. You will be playing an unnamed male character who is trying to break free from a traumatizing time loop that runs its course over 12 agonizing minutes. It is up to you to explore the various areas of your home in order to find hints and uncover the truth. The story is presented from an aerial perspective, which allows you to see all corners of a room at a glance.

Apart from Twelve Minutes’ gripping storyline, players can also look forward to stunning visuals, which make use of lifelike physics and a realistic setting that makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the story. It branches out into a number of possible endings that you can replay as many times as you’d like. Just note that there is no option to skip dialogue that you’ve already read.
