Turnbound is a premium card game for PC developed by 1TK. It's an auto-battler adventure set in a dark fantasy world. Players take on the role of a hero adventurer trapped inside a haunted board game, and they must find a way to escape by effectively utilizing the gear they find throughout. 

Comparable to games like Backpack Battles and God of Weapons, Turnbound features inventory management mechanics in its gameplay. Players must come up with the ideal combination of items and weapons, given limited space capacity, in order to overcome the various enemies and challenges in tactical turn-based encounters. 

Trapped and lost 

In Turnbound, you find yourself trapped inside a haunted board game, and you must rely on your wits and skills to survive and find a way to escape your predicament. What makes this roguelike deckbuilding stand out from others of its kind is that it features asynchronous multiplayer PvP battles against other real players, which results in no two encounters being exactly the same. 

The core gameplay loop in Turnbound revolves around inventory management, wherein you’re given limited storage space and need to maximize item and weapon placement. Since this is an auto-battler, the pre-battle stage is crucial, so getting the right arrangement and creating synergies will determine if you’ll lose or be victorious. Unlock a wide roster of heroes inspired by legends and fictional characters, like Robin Hood and Sun Wukong. 

Experiment with different abilities, and equip dozens of trinkets and hundreds of items that will affect your character builds in all kinds of ways. Battle through six unique chambers on your way to the final chamber to make your escape. The only thing to keep in mind is that the game is still in Early Access, so it will not be the full experience just yet. 

Fun and engaging 

Overall, Turnbound is a fun and immersive auto-battler that, despite the nature of its gameplay, offers a surprising level of depth and tactics, with the various combinations and synergies you can achieve.
