Turkish King is a card-based trick-taking game in which players must follow suit if they can. The game starts with a single deck of 52 cards. Players are dealt five cards, with one card being dealt face-down. The cards in each suit rank from highest to lowest: A K Q J 2. In the first trick, the highest card of the suit led is declared as the trump, and the player is given the option of following suit or playing a trump if they have one. Players are given the option of repeating the trick if they want to. Once all five tricks have been played, the player is given another chance to lead with a new suit. The player is given another chance to lead with a new suit after the first trick, and is given another chance to lead with a new suit after the second trick. The game ends when the last trick has been played. The player with the highest score is declared the winner.
