Developed by HUMAPPS, this music app allows for browsing and downloading of songs. However, it’s recommended that you don’t rely on this often for expanding your music library, as this sometimes fails to download anything properly and even makes your files disappear.

Works most of the time

Tube Music Downloader - Tubeplay mp3 Downloader is just like most audio downloader apps you’ll come across. You can search for songs, artists, and even albums using its search bar. The main menu won’t advertise any suggestions or recommendations so you won’t be distracted when you launch the app. Much of its search results display content from YouTube, allowing you to download audio files from there.

However, when playing these, you will only be given the audio—if the result you clicked was a video, you can’t watch it on the app and can only listen to it. Nevertheless, you can download any audio you want and have saved on your mobile device. Take note that all downloaded files will be in MP3 format and you can’t convert these using the app.  

After getting a song, you can listen to it offline but you will definitely need an internet connection when browsing and downloading again. Since the app is free, expect ads to pop up every now and then. Fortunately, they’re not too intrusive. However, the app is known to be unstable at times—you’ll find some of your downloads missing or if you download several files at once, only a few will be completed.
