The text on the screen (mainly the question and possible options) is read by the Trivia Helper app, which then conducts searches to determine the most likely answer. It might be helpful for most (if not all) of the available trivia apps. OCR (optical character recognition) is used to decipher the text displayed on the screen. Therefore, it is relatively consistent regardless of the material on the net. Make a profile for each app you want to play with, then utilize that profile in future games. While creating a profile, it's best practice to specify the question and options area separately to reduce the likelihood of errors. It does searches using not one but two search engines. This is an option in the Preferences menu. The settings panel is for advanced users willing to risk being blocklisted by the search engine after a few searches in exchange for more precision. However, if that happens, it will use the secondary search engine.
