TrimixCalc is a lifestyle app developed by frobese GmbH for iPhone users. It is the next step in the evolution of NitroxCalc, catering to the needs of ambitious divers who are interested in mixed gas diving with the addition of helium to their breathing gas. This app takes into account both oxygen and helium in its calculations of Equivalent Air Depth (EAD) and Maximum Operating Depth (MOD). With TrimixCalc, divers can now accurately and quickly determine their maximum depth, compare depths, and find the best gas mixture for their dive.

While TrimixCalc is a useful tool, it is important to note that it does not replace careful dive planning. It provides a preliminary result of the gas mixtures required for a dive, but divers should still exercise caution and engage in thorough dive planning.

One of the standout features of TrimixCalc is its gas blender function. This function guides divers on how much of each gas they need to add in order to achieve a target mixture, taking into account the starting point of tank pressure and gas concentration. This is particularly useful for divers who have leftover gas from previous dives. However, it is strongly recommended that the actual gas mixing be left to certified professionals.

The current version of TrimixCalc is limited to gas mixtures with oxygen concentrations between 21% and 28%, and helium concentrations between 0% and 25%. If you are an ambitious tek-diver, you have the option to upgrade to the unlimited version via an In-App purchase.

Enjoy using TrimixCalc for your dive planning needs! For any issues or error messages, you can reach out to the developer through their contact address. Please note that references in reviews are not useful to the developer, as they have no access to them.
