TowerFall is an indie arcade action game with local multiplayer and several game modes.

Gameplay

TowerFall has a retro-platformer style in which the player can move from one location to another by jumping and falling. Every location has an exit on the opposite side of the map, so if the player falls into a pit, he immediately appears from the top of the arena. There are several powerups that can be found in treasure chests scattered across the map.

The game has no storyline whatsoever and is more like a series of challenges with different monsters, powerups, and unique peculiarities on locations.

Story

The game was developed as an exclusive for the OUYA microconsole, but was later ported on other systems as TowerFall Ascension.
