Total TKD Scorer is a free iPhone app designed for taekwondo enthusiasts. Developed by Dennis Cheng, this app allows users to score WT (World Taekwondo) kyorugi (sparring), traditional poomsae (forms), and freestyle poomsae all in one place.

This app is not intended for in-person, full-sized tournaments, but it can be used for various other purposes. It is suitable for dojang/club training, collegiate teams, coaches, team trials, training referees and judges, preparing tournament volunteers, and even scoring online tournaments.

One of the key features of Total TKD Scorer is its ability to mimic handheld scoring devices, providing a clean and modern interface. The app adjusts the onscreen buttons if the device is held sideways, making it convenient to use.

In addition to scoring capabilities, Total TKD Scorer also offers features to help educate athletes, parents, instructors, volunteers, and referees/judges-in-training. The learning mode provides information about how elements of a competition are scored, while the ref mode allows access to referee commands while using the scoring screen. The app also includes a referee dictionary with charts displaying referee commands in Anglicized Korean with corresponding English translations and hand signals, including gam-jeom signals.

Total TKD Scorer is a comprehensive taekwondo scoring app that caters to the needs of taekwondo practitioners and enthusiasts. With its user-friendly interface and educational features, it is a valuable tool for training and keeping track of standings in various taekwondo activities.
