Tipitaka is a free, offline, and easy-to-use app for reading the Theravada Buddhist Pali Tipitaka, commentaries and sub-commentaries in Pali. It is suitable for advanced students of the Pali language and also has several Pali-English dictionaries.

It is based on the free and open-source E-Tipitaka project by Sutee Sudprasert.

The files are available for download on GitHub.

You can find the files in the directory /sdcard/mysticstudio/android/assets/tipitaka/ and unpack them using a file manager like Parcello or the file browser of your Android device.

You don't need to be online to use the application.

It has a built-in dictionary.

You can add your favorite tips to the bookmark.
