Timescale allows you to advance time at a different pace than the standard real-time. You can go as fast or as slow as you want to and you can choose to go at a rate that is normal, x2, x5, x10, x15, x20. You can even set the rate to whatever you want, and it will still work.

The only thing that matters is that you have to keep advancing time. You can eat food and drink alcohol to speed up your progress. You will also lose energy every time you eat, so you have to make sure that you keep advancing time.

You can also go to a different rate at which you can go faster than normal. For instance, if you want to go 2 times faster than normal, you can do that by setting the rate to x2.
