Timelapse - Sony Camera is a free Android application that enables you to take pictures remotely with your Sony camera. The app allows you to choose the delay between pictures and the initial delay. You can also preview the photo taken and take pictures even when the screen is turned off. The pictures are stored on your camera's SD card, and the app does not create a video from your pictures. The app supports various Sony cameras, including A7 (α7), DSC-HX400V, DSC-HX50V, DSC-HX60, DSC-HX90V, and DSC-QX1, among others. However, some devices have not yet been tested, including ILCE-5000 (α5000), ILCA-77M2 (α77 II), and DSC-HX50, among others. The app requires you to put your camera into "Ctrl with Smartphone" mode or pair it using NFC. Note that some cameras may not have the Remote Control application installed by default, and you need to download it from Sony's store.
