Timegrapher X is a specialized application designed for analyzing the ticking sound of mechanical watches to determine accuracy, beat error, and amplitude. The app is optimized to work seamlessly with the Apple EarPods' headset microphone. By ensuring slight pressure between the headset microphone and watch crown, users can enhance detail and diagram quality significantly, resulting in a stronger signal.

The program comprises two distinct modules: the "INSTANT" module offers real-time insights into the watch's immediate performance, akin to a traditional timegrapher but with live waveform and detailed diagram displays. The "LONG TEST" module serves as a graphical data logger, enabling users to monitor the watch's long-term behavior, offering indicators like average rate, rate drift over time, and more. Extended measurements for up to 12 hours allow comprehensive watch analysis.
