theHunter: Call of the Wild™ is an adventure-based sports simulation developed by Expansive Worlds and published by Avalanche Studios for PC. In this realistically illustrated open world, you can play as a hunter and hunt a wide range of animals across varying biomes. 

With its immersive, expansive environments set across the Americas, theHunter: Call of the Wild™ delivers an authentically action-packed hunting experience. This walking simulator blends sandbox exploration, stealth gameplay, and first-person shooter mechanics. Although released in 2017, this game remains as the latest installment of the theHunter franchise. 

Explore and hunt 

In theHunter: Call of the Wild™, you play as a hunter in a realistically rendered open world, exploring different biomes and regions, each with unique flora and fauna, hunting a broad selection of animal species. This campaign can be played entirely by yourself through the solo campaign or with friends via multiplayer gameplay, making it an excellent choice for both solo and multiplayer play. 

A large roster of weapons, equipment, and ammunition is available for you to use, making the experience even more immersive. It offers a wide selection of options when targeting wildlife, including jackrabbits, mallard ducks, black bears, elk, and moose. Be careful, though. You must carefully watch your footsteps and track them meticulously before firing to prevent them from escaping. 

Meanwhile, online multiplayer can be played by up to eight people, with whom you can collaborate and strategize.  It also depicts authentic animal reactions and takedowns. Furthermore, if this title’s content is not enough, there are several paid content options you can avail yourself of to unlock additional content and extend your playtime. However, the game features a slow, methodical pace that can bore players seeking fast-paced action.
