A game inspired by Alexandre Dumas’ novel

The Three Musketeers is a free demo of the said premium title. Here, you’ll play as Porthos — a swordsman who is saving his fellow musketeers from Count Xavier and Count Orsini. As this is a platformer, expect a lot of jumping, as well as a bit of sword fighting.

Be the first to strike

Whether you’re in a creepy castle dungeon or on the rooftops, you can come across collectible silver coins and gold keys and deadly enemies that roam the level. While sword fights are more on who strikes first, it rewards gamers who play aggressively and demonstrate knowledge of enemy behavior.

However, Porthos can’t parry or block swords and arrows. On the flip side, though, the cartoony 3D and cel-shaded graphics are cute and immersive—making the game appealing to children. Also, due to its dynamic gameplay, this title requires precision and sharp reflexes

Fun title with cute graphics

Overall, The Three Musketeers is a fun platformer title if you have the reflexes to complete the levels. The combat encourages players to be aggressive and cognizant of their foe’s behavior. Despite Porthos being a swordsman, parrying or blocking attacks is not possible in this game.
