The Talos Principle is a puzzle game set in ancient Greece. In this ancient world, the artificial people, called “Artificials”, had a special role. These people were used to perform tasks that would be difficult or impossible for humans to perform. For example, if a man wanted to make a tunnel, he would first make a hole in the ground, then would insert a long pipe and finally close the hole.

In this game, the player is an “Artificial” named Talos. Talos is a protector of Crete in Greek mythology. He is led by Elohim, his mentor, who allows him to explore the world and open portals to other locations. In this world, there are a variety of tasks that the player must perform, and there are many different ways to complete each task.
